and here are some more below, which I've modified from other open-source operating systems... first from the contest for Linspire 5 desktop which was run jointly by Linspire and Deviant Art... then from JDS...
and these two delightful treatments by PC-BSD from their version 1.2...
then from the KDE series from 2005-2006,
and finally two from a PuppyLinux version that used the XFCE window manager, and which looked strikingly like a Mac... the last two have been "embossed" to portray the default desktop look of a recent series of Mac laptops...
Worth noting is that the "ThinkLinux" desktop wallpapers are based on the regular KDE blue-bend desktop.
