One of the first was Gliesl from the Philipines who created XPuppyPro incorporating the FVWM Window manager, which looked very much like Windows2000.
Here we see some 800x600 screencaptures which scale well to the thumbnail size... on the left is the default XP "Bliss" wallpaper, with a lovely dark blue alternative one called "space" next to it. On the right is the simpler Joe's Window Manager (JWM) as shipped with all Puppy Version 2 systems as standard.

Below we have the look of the FVWM cascading menu (which is readily customisable), and below it, the task bar.
This system works extremely fast on earlier computers because of Puppy Linux's absence of "bloat".
This version of Puppy has the lightweight office suite comprising AbiWord as a Word Processor, and an excellent lightweight spreadsheet called Gnumeric.
