Recently the Microsoft Corporation began threatening and, in some cases, filing lawsuits against international computer resellers for bringing choice to computer desktops. These resellers are providing stable, secure and affordable Linux solutions to consumers around the world. ChoicePC was conceived by Lindows.com as a rallying point for international resellers seeking shelter from Microsoft's tactics and for customers worldwide who want choice to remain available for their computers.

Microsoft began this pattern of harassment towards resellers in The Netherlands. To read an actual letter from a Dutch reseller who was threatened, visit www.lindows.com/dutchresellers. After ChoicePC was launched, all 500 Lifetime LindowsOS Memberships available for The Netherlands were purchased in just a few hours! Unfortunately, Microsoft has not stopped their pattern of harassment towards international resellers. In Sweden, Microsoft not only communicated with resellers to prevent choice, but more recently filed for and received a temporary restraining order against Lindows.com to prohibit the use of our corporate name, and the name of our operating system, LindowsOS. In France, Microsoft has filed a lawsuit against a local French reseller and Lindows.com. We have started to receive similar reports from countries all over the world. As a result, ChoicePC.com has gone global, and we ask for your support to make sure the world has choice!
