Why did Lindows.com start the ChoicePC.com website?
Microsoft representatives in several countries have contacted resellers of Lindows.com products telling them to stop selling those products. Starting the ChoicePC program and web site will enable Lindows.com to better support our International partners and defend choice on the PC desktop. Lindows.com is committed exclusively to bringing Desktop Linux to the masses and we understand that defending choice on the PC desktop for our International partners and consumers alike is critical. Bringing funds and public attention to bear on anti-competitive actions will invigorate competition in these countries, and ultimately help consumers have access to stable, secure, and affordable software and computers.
